1. Summary

• We do not require an account, name, or sign-in to use the service.
• We do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
• We do not store the media files you download — they are streamed, not saved.
• The only data kept in your browser is your chosen interface language.

2. Information we process

To provide the service, we process the following on a temporary basis:

• The Threads link you submit. We use it only to fetch publicly available post metadata and media links from Threads and its content delivery network. The link is processed in memory to build your result and is not written to a database.
• Download requests. When you download an item, the file is streamed from its public source through our server to your device. We do not retain a copy of the file.
• Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically process standard request information (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamp) in server logs for security, abuse prevention, and reliability. We do not use this to build profiles of you.

3. What we do not collect

• No accounts, passwords, or social-media logins.
• No advertising identifiers or cross-site tracking cookies.
• No permanent record of the links you paste or the media you download.
• No access to private, deleted, age-restricted, or login-gated content.

4. Cookies and local storage

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The service stores a single preference — your selected interface language — in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it on your next visit. This value never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser data.

5. Contact form

If you use our contact form, you submit an email address, an optional name, and a message. We use these only to receive and reply to your request: the message is delivered to our support inbox by email through a third-party SMTP email provider, with your email set as the reply-to address. We do not use this information for marketing, and we do not share it except as needed to deliver the email. Messages are retained in our inbox for as long as needed to handle your request.

6. Third-party services

When you resolve or download a post, requests are made to Meta's Threads platform and its media content delivery network (including Threads, Instagram, and Facebook CDN domains) to retrieve publicly available content. Your interaction with those services is governed by Meta's own privacy policy. We are an independent tool and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. or Threads. Our site may also rely on a hosting/infrastructure provider that processes requests on our behalf.

7. Data retention

Submitted links and downloaded media are processed transiently and are not stored by the service after your request completes. Automatically generated server logs, where present, are retained only as long as needed for security and operational purposes and are then deleted or anonymized.

8. Children's privacy

The service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can address it.

9. Your rights

Because we do not maintain accounts or stored personal profiles, there is generally no personal data set tied to you for us to export or delete. Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data and to object to certain processing. 10. Copyright and acceptable use

This tool is intended for downloading public content that you own, created, or have permission to use. You are responsible for how you use any downloaded media and for respecting the rights of content owners and Threads' terms. We do not grant any ownership or license to content retrieved through the service.

We apply reasonable safeguards, including restricting downloads to approved media hosts and serving traffic over HTTPS. No method of transmission or processing is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves or as required by law. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
